VIDEO: Pure Color + Copics

Hello! I've got another video request via Instagram for you!

Today's card features our previously released Heartfelt Holiday stamps and dies. Like I mention in the video, this is still one of my very favorite stamp sets.

I'll be showing you how to add a little dimension to your solid stamped images by using your Copic markers to create shading. It's a quick and easy way to make an image pop and bonus - you don't have to color the whole image! Watch the video below to see how it's done.

Watch above or watch in HD at YouTube

I am really enjoying re-visiting some of our older stamp sets. It's something that I always intend to do, but never seem to have the time to do. Scheduling them in and not allowing myself to be distracted by shiny new things seems to be helping. So much easier said than done!

As always, thanks for stopping by!

  1. Very interesting!! I'll have to give this technique a try. Thank you for another video!! Yay!! As for getting tired of your florals---NEVER! I would love to see this technique with a floral--on YouTube though because Periscope is not my friend.

  4. I could watch you paint flowers all day. But who knew copics worked with Clear Color, SSS and HA inks? I have been tempted to try using them with Copics but somehow I thought I had learned that only MFT and Memento was copic-friendly. Doesn't really make sense now that I think it through.

And I am not a fan of periscope either. I think I am too impatient for the unedited versions.

since Google and Blogger can not remove the Blogger Profile for my closed blog moved to WP in 2012, or edit or let me edit the closed email address and outdated information there! They don't even let me use my WordPress identity, not user friendly and exactly why I moved my blog to WP.
